Inspired by the baobab in the African Savannah and designed in Belgium, each luxury Baobab candle is handcrafted and hand-poured in Europe using the finest mineral wax from Germany, hand-blown glass from Poland and heavenly scents created in the French Riviera.
Baobab Candle / Sand / Siloli
The hand-blown glasses of the Siloli candle showcase shades of beige and brown on which horizontal lines are formed with small organic and random specks. Each glass is unique, as the sandy color dissolves in the material according to the glass blower’s breath.
Fragrance Notes:
Cedarwood - Tonka Bean - Green Lemon The dry woody fragrance of cedar and tonka bean takes us to the wide-open spaces of an equatorial climate, with a touch of lime to give this fragrance an unusual fresh-ness. The sophistication of the olfactory materials is in perfect harmony with that of the glass, striking a beautiful balance between decorative and perfumed object.
The quality of our scented candles involves a specific burning ritual. Each time the candle is burned, it is important to wait until the entire surface liquefies before extinguishing the candle. This will prevent the formation of craters which are unattractive and make burning more difficult. The first time you light your candle, it will always burn for longer than on subsequent occasions. Allow time for the first layer of wax to liquefy completely. The length of time this takes varies depending on the size of the candle.
Never burn the last 1cm (1/2 inch) of wax to avoid flames burning against the glass.
