Ottoloom towels are made by weavers in Southern Turkey who have been using the same timehonoured techniques and traditional, wooden shuttle looms for centuries.

Every piece we sell can be traced back to a family workshop and is guaranteed to be made with 100% (GOTS) certified organic Turkish cotton. GOTS is recognised as the world’s leading standard for textiles made from organic fibres. Aside from the environmental benefits, organic cotton is more absorbent, dries faster, remains soft, and is better at reducing moisture-induced bacteria, which means your products will never smell musty.

Ottoloom / Kontex Vintage Waffle Hand Towel / Grey

The Vintage Waffle towel combines the sophistication of expertly woven fibers with the comfort of lived-in textiles. Threads of cotton and linen intertwine into small plaits, creating a elegant blanket-like weave.

Kontex towels are woven at gentle speeds on an old fashioned weaving machine. This slow weaving process brings out the natural softness of the yarn, making the towels extremely soft, yet durable enough for everyday use. Kontex towels are highly absorbent, lightweight, fast-drying and environmentally friendly.
